Please refer to your membership/visitor agreement and the Waiver & Risk and Academy Codes Agreement, available in Gymdesk, for Renzo Gracie East Side policies & processes in addition to what is listed below.

PAYMENT-RELATED POLICIES

  • RGES operates on a calendar-month basis for billing purposes, with the payment on the first of each month covering the training for that month.

  • RGES does not offer billing for partial months.

  • Monthly membership fees are non-refundable. Sign-up fees are non-refundable.

  • RGES does not credit members for any days, weeks, and/or months that they do not train; members forfeit their rights to a class by failing to attend.

MEMBERSHIP FREEZING

  • All membership freezes are issued at the sole discretion of RGES.

  • RGES requires a thirty (30)-day advance notice prior to the next billing cycle to freeze a student membership.

  • All freezes are, at a minimum, one calendar month in duration (starting with the first of the month). The maximum length of a membership freeze is three calendar months. Weeks or days only cannot be requested for a freeze.

  • Only one membership freeze is permitted per twelve (12)-month period.

  • During the freeze period, the Student will not be billed for the membership and may not participate in classes.

  • For memberships with a specific Renewal Date: if the membership is frozen at any point, the Renewal Date will be extended by the number of months for which the membership was frozen.

  • Members may reactivate their membership earlier than the anticipated end date without advance notice.

  • Members must request a freeze via an email to membership@renzogracieeastside.com and the freeze is not considered approved or final without a response from RGES.

RGES Store

  • All sales from the Renzo Gracie East Side store are non-refundable.

  • Exchanges for unworn/unused products are subject to RGES’s discretion.

LOST & Found

  • RGES is not responsible for any items left at the academy.

  • Items left unattended at RGES may be disposed of without notification.

  • If you think you left something at RGES, please contact us ASAP via membership@renzogracieeastside.com or calling 917.336.0339. While we make no guarantees that we will be able to reunite you with a missing item, we will make reasonable efforts to do so.
